INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION



With the advent of industrial revolution, machines were design to increase productivity and remove many laborious tasks from productive activities. Workers were provide with which they could substitute machine power for muscle power. Since, much was the machinery was massive, stationary and dependent on power, it become a dominant feature. Under this system, land, building, hired labour , capital were made available to the entrepreneur who looked for combining these factors in the efficient achievement of particular goal.

Pre-industrials revolution Period


After the invention and development of the steam engine by James Watt, the concept manufacturing changed. It was mostly carried out by labors e.g. in cloths mills, looms etc. But after development of the steam engine, this concept was used by engineers for application of power looms. I contributed to rise in production, reduced price and improved quality resulting in completion.
